Capture the feel and sound of classic rock with the Remo Vintage Emperor. This head is a faithful reissue of the original Emperor that defined the drum sounds of the 1970s.

It’s constructed with two plies of 7.5-mil clear film, making it slightly thicker, warmer, and more durable than a modern Emperor. This design enhances the drum’s mid and low-range frequencies, shortens the sustain, and creates a darker, fatter tone with outstanding projection.

For drummers seeking maximum durability and the iconic, focused punch of vintage rock records, the Vintage Emperor is the ultimate choice.

Vintage Construction: Made with two plies of 7.5-mil clear film, replicating the construction of the original 1970s Emperor heads for a truly authentic sound.
Warm, Focused Tone: The thicker film accentuates mid and low-range frequencies, delivering a warmer, darker sound with a shorter sustain than standard two-ply heads.
Maximum Durability: The combined 15-mil thickness makes the Vintage Emperor one of the most durable clear drumheads available, ideal for heavy hitters.
Clear Finish: The clear film provides a powerful attack and a full, projecting sound, perfect for live rock, funk, and R&B applications.
The Sound of Classic Rock: The perfect choice for drummers looking to emulate the fat, punchy, and iconic drum tones from the golden era of rock music.
