Remo Ambassador X14 Coated 14-inch snare head: a 14-mil single ply for drummers who hit hard and want durability without a second ply.
The Legendary Ambassador, Amplified: The Remo Ambassador X
Experience the perfect blend of classic tone and modern power with the Remo Ambassador X.
This drumhead takes the world’s most popular single-ply head, the Coated Ambassador, and makes it 20% thicker for increased durability and enhanced sound. The result is a head with a more pronounced attack, a broader midrange, and a focused, warm tone that’s perfect for a huge range of musical styles.
Renowned as a snare drum batter head, the Ambassador X provides a fat, cracking backbeat while still being sensitive enough for ghost notes. For drummers who love the open, resonant sound of an Ambassador but need more power and longevity, the Ambassador X is the definitive choice.
-
Enhanced Durability: Constructed from a single ply of 12-mil coated film, making it 20% thicker and more durable than a standard 10-mil Ambassador.
-
Powerful, Warm Tone: Delivers a unique sound with enhanced attack, a wider midrange frequency response, and increased warmth.
-
The Ultimate Snare Head: Widely regarded as one of the best snare batter heads available, providing the perfect balance of attack, body, and controlled resonance.
-
Coated Finish: The iconic coating adds warmth, focus, and depth to the sound, and allows for beautiful brushwork in lower-volume settings.
-
Versatile Application: While ideal for snare drums, it also serves as a durable and powerful batter head for tom-toms in rock, pop, and R&B settings.
