Evans EQ clear plastic single-pedal patches: non-slip patches that add beater attack and protect the bass drum head.

The Evans EQ Single Patch is a pre-cut, self-adhesive Mylar patch designed to reinforce the bass drum head at the beater impact zone. Even with modern multi-ply heads, repeated hard strikes from wooden or hard plastic beaters can wear through the film over time — the EQ Single Patch adds a transparent layer of protection exactly where you need it, extending head life without altering the feel or tone of the head.

Clear Mylar construction means the patch is virtually invisible once applied, and the adhesive bond is strong enough to survive hundreds of gigs without lifting or peeling. Available in different sizes to match your beater’s impact footprint, the EQ Patch is an inexpensive insurance policy for any hard-hitting drummer who wants to maximise the life of their bass drum head.
