Evans E-Rings Rock are a heavier-gauge version of the standard E-Ring overtone control system, designed for drummers who need more aggressive dampening. The thicker foam profile covers a wider area of the drum head’s outer edge, resulting in a more dramatic reduction of sustain and overtone — ideal for hard-hitting rock, metal, and high-volume players who want a tight, punchy drum sound with minimal room ring.
Like all E-Rings, the Rock version requires no adhesive and simply rests on the drum head surface for tool-free installation. Remove them in seconds if the style shifts to something that calls for a more open tone. The E-Rings Rock system gives heavy-hitting drummers the controlled, focused sound they need to cut through a dense mix without permanently altering their drum heads or kit setup.
