Pearl D-930 Drum Throne

The Pearl D-930 Drum Throne is a popular and reliable seating solution from Pearl’s acclaimed Roadster series, designed to offer drummers a great balance of comfort, stability, and value. It’s an excellent choice for intermediate players, dedicated students, and gigging drummers who need a dependable and comfortable throne without investing in top-tier professional models.

Comfortable Round Seat with Enhanced Support

The D-930 features a round top vinyl seat that is generously cushioned to provide a comfortable playing experience. While it maintains a classic round shape, the foam density is optimized for extended use, offering more support than basic entry-level thrones. The durable vinyl covering ensures longevity and easy cleaning, while also providing a good amount of grip to keep the drummer securely in place during energetic performances.

Solid Stability with Double-Braced Tripod Legs

Stability is a key strength of the D-930. It is built with double-braced tripod legs, a robust design that provides a firm and secure foundation. This heavy-duty construction effectively minimizes wobble and prevents the throne from shifting, even during dynamic playing. Each leg is equipped with large, slip-resistant rubber feet that ensure a reliable grip on various floor surfaces, offering peace of mind during performances.

Precise and Secure Height Adjustment

The D-930 utilizes a threaded rod height adjustment system. This mechanism allows for precise, minute adjustments, enabling drummers to dial in their exact optimal ergonomic height. Once the desired height is set, a sturdy memory clamp (or lock collar) securely fastens the throne in place. This feature ensures that the throne returns to your preferred height quickly and consistently every time you set up, and prevents it from slipping or sinking during play. The height range is generous, typically from 495mm to 665mm (19.5″ to 26.2″), accommodating a wide variety of drummers and kit setups.

Road-Ready Durability

As part of the Roadster series, the D-930 is built with durability in mind. Its heavy-duty steel construction throughout its base and components ensures it can withstand the rigors of frequent transport and constant adjustments, providing reliable performance for practices, rehearsals, and gigs.
