It is a single-chain pedal, built for players who want real Iron Cobra feel from their first kit.
A twisting spring makes a pedal feel less smooth. Spring Tight, a half-moon shaped spring tension rod, stops the spring from twisting, so none of your stroke's power is lost on the way to the beater.
The HH205 hi-hat stand has direct-pull action and five clearly visible tension settings, so you can quickly set the pedal to feel light or firm. The non-loosening tension rod has a rubber insulator that stops the rod working loose and prevents metal-to-metal noise.
The footboard rotates around the double-braced tripod base, which gives you far more freedom to place the hi-hat next to your bass drum pedal. A plastic Toe Guard covers the chain, protecting both the chain and your foot.
The HS60W holds 12-inch to 15-inch snares. Its toothless Quick-Set Tilter holds any angle using six metal disc plates, Escape Claw rubber cushions let the drum float for better resonance and soften the impact on your wrists, and the swiveling basket clears the strainer wherever you place it.
Each HC63BW boom stand converts to a straight stand when space is tight, with the boom arm stored in the upper tube. The Quick-Set Tilter holds any cymbal angle, and a reversible cymbal bottom protects the cymbal's centre hole and can be flipped when one side wears.
Five pieces: an HP200P Iron Cobra 200 single pedal, an HH205 Iron Cobra 200 hi-hat stand, an HS60W snare stand and two HC63BW boom cymbal stands.
No. A drum throne and any tom stand or holder are sold separately.
The HS60W holds 12" to 15" snares, with a height range of 470mm to 600mm.
The HC63BW boom stands adjust from 850mm to 2,010mm, with a 400mm boom arm, and convert to straight stands.
Both use the same HP200P pedal and HH205 hi-hat. The HB5W's HS60W snare stand and HC63BW boom stands have Tama's Quick-Set Tilter and taller cymbal stands (up to 2,010mm). The SM5W uses Stage Master stands with a gearless snare tilter and Quick-Set Cymbal Mates.
