Quality Construction and Authentic Sound

The core of the Remo Thunder Tube’s design is its commitment to both quality sound and professional-grade durability.1

• Durable Construction: The Thunder Tube features a tough, cylindrical tube with a high-quality Fiberskyn drumhead at one end.2 A long, coiled spring is attached to the center of the head, and it is this spring that creates the unique thunder sound.3 The construction is built with an Acousticon shell, which is known for its durability.4

• Authentic Thunder Sound: The Thunder Tube is played by shaking the tube or by striking the head with a mallet.5 The vibrations from the strike travel down the spring, which creates a low, rumbling sound that decays to a soft thunder clap.6

• Compact and Portable: With a 7″ x 2″ size, this Thunder Tube is a great, portable option for musicians who are constantly on the move or for use in smaller spaces.7
