Its robust construction and complete setup make it a versatile and reliable tool for both studio recordings and live performances.

Quality Construction and Vibrant Sound

The core of the Meinl HT1314CH’s design is its commitment to both quality sound and professional-grade durability.

• Durable Steel Shells: The timbales feature tough, steel shells that are built to withstand the rigors of frequent use.2 The chrome finish not only adds a unique visual appeal but also contributes to the instrument’s bright and resonant tone.3

• Tunable Heads: The timbales are equipped with high-quality heads that are tunable to a high pitch. This allows the player to achieve a variety of sounds, from a crisp, high-pitched “ping” to a deep, resonant “boom.”

• Complete Setup: The set includes a sturdy, height-adjustable stand, a cowbell, and a pair of timbale sticks.4 This provides a complete and ready-to-play setup right out of the box, making it an excellent choice for beginner and intermediate players.

Convenient and Practical Features

The Meinl HT1314CH is engineered for maximum convenience and ease of use, with several thoughtful features that make it a practical choice for any musician.

• Versatile Use: The timbales’ dynamic and cutting sound makes them an excellent choice for adding percussive texture to any musical piece.5 They are suitable for both solo playing and integration into a larger percussion setup.

• Easy to Play: The timbales are designed to be played with a variety of techniques, from striking the drumheads with sticks to playing the shell, or “cascara,” with your hand.6

• Professional Finish: The chrome finish gives the timbales a sleek and professional appearance, making them a great visual addition to any performer’s setup.7

The Meinl HT1314CH is a perfect blend of authentic sound, reliable construction, and practical features, making it a valuable addition to any percussionist’s gear.
