This pack adds one more of each, so you get an extra tom for longer fills around the kit and an extra cymbal for accents, without replacing anything you already own. The Nitro Max module has built-in expansion inputs waiting for it.
Two 6ft ¼″ TRS cables are in the box, and the Nitro Max module already has the expansion inputs for them. There is nothing else to buy: connect the new pads, and they are ready to play.
The 8″ single-zone tom pad uses Alesis mesh for a natural feel and an ultra-quiet response, so it is comfortable for home practice. It is the same size as the kit's own 8″ toms, so your new tom feels and looks at home alongside them.
Grab the edge of the cymbal pad to stop the sound, just as you would mute an acoustic cymbal. Choking lets you play short, sharp accents and clean stops. The 10″ size matches the other cymbals on the Nitro Max.
The pack includes an L-rod tom mount, a cymbal mount and mounting clamps that fit the Nitro Max rack, so you can position the new tom and cymbal where they suit your playing.
It is made for the Alesis Nitro Max Electronic Drum Kit, which we stock, and the Nitro Max module has built-in inputs for this pack. If you own the Nitro Max Special Edition in red, ask us before ordering: Alesis also makes a red version of this pack to match that kit.

No, the 8″ tom pad is single-zone, like the three toms that come with the Nitro Max. The kit's 10″ snare is the dual-zone pad.
