This kit’s handcrafted 7-ply Hybrid Oak shells (with a phenolic resin center ply) redefine oak’s voice – yielding huge fundamentals, tight attack, and incredible dynamic range.

Yamaha applies its traditional Japanese uzukuri finish to expose and enhance the natural oak grain. Under the high-gloss ICE Sunburst coat, icy blue and black tones swirl above the sanded grain – a look drummers call “absolutely stunning” in person.

Flagship hardware completes the build: internal bass-drum weights for extra low-end punch, single-post Absolute lugs for shell integrity, plus beefy 2.3mm steel DynaHoops and dark-chrome finishes for an aggressive stage aesthetic.

• YESS III Tom Mounts: Rack toms mount via Yamaha’s YESS III suspension system (uses specialized Yamaha clamps). Includes one Yamaha TH-945B double-tom holder. (Note: YESS mounts are Yamaha-specific and require Yamaha-compatible tom arms.)

• Remo Heads Included: Outfit each drum for immediate use – Vintage-Coated Remo UT batter heads and clear Resonant heads are installed, giving warm attack and open sustain.
