The Predator brings a dark, powerful sound to any musical situation. Its copper shell produces a profound, weighty fundamental that roars with mid-low range tone. The 14x6-inch size gives it a full body.
1.2mm seamed copper
The 1.2mm seamed copper shell has a brushed/gloss copper finish, set off by chrome hardware and in-line locking B-lugs.
SONIClear bearing edge
The rolled SONIClear 45-degree bearing edge, standard on every Black Panther snare shell, lets the head sit flatter and make better contact with the shell for an expanded tuning range. A 2.3mm snare bed, 5.5 inches wide, seats the 20-strand snare wires against the Remo Ambassador resonant head.
Air Flow venting
Each Black Panther model is fitted with the number of vent holes that suits its feel and resonance, chosen through extensive testing. The Predator has four air vents.
Cylinder-Drive strainer, Sonic Saver hoops
The Cylinder-Drive strainer and butt-side adjustment run on a self-lubricating bearing for smooth operation, and their micro-lock adjustment knobs give precise tension control. Sonic Saver hoops complete the drum.
