14"x7" Black Panther "Solidus" snare drum, featuring a 11-ply maple shell for a focused, powerful, and versatile sound.
Heavy Shell. Huge Tone. The King of Power Snares.
The Mapex Black Panther Solidus Snare Drum is an absolute powerhouse—built for drummers who want maximum depth, presence, and projection. With a 14×7″ size and a 12-ply, 11mm maple shell, this drum is one of the thickest and most commanding in the Black Panther lineup. Its sound is dry, focused, and thunderous, delivering articulate attack and massive body at all dynamic levels.
Designed for modern rock, metal, and gospel players, the Solidus excels in high-volume settings while maintaining control and definition. Sonic Saver hoops add punch and tuning stability, while the Cylinder-Drive strainer ensures smooth snare engagement. The Natural Satin finish with Brass hardware gives it a regal aesthetic to match its bold sound.
If you’re looking for the ultimate in snare presence and muscle, the Solidus more than lives up to its name.
