The Yamaha Stage Custom Hip brings the focused response of six-ply, 100% birch shells to a compact four-piece format. Its shallow 20-inch bass drum keeps the setup easy to place and transport while retaining the low-end presence needed for rehearsals, clubs and close-miked stages. This version is finished in Matte Surf Green.

Built Around a Smart Compact Configuration

• 20×8 bass drum: a full 20-inch diameter with a shallow shell for punchy lows in less floor space.
• 10×5 rack tom: quick response and clear articulation, mounted with Yamaha’s flexible ball-clamp system.
• 13×8 floor tom: fitted with 20-strand snares and a throw-off so it can also serve as a deep auxiliary snare.
• 13×5 snare drum: a compact main snare that keeps the complete setup balanced and portable.
• CL940LB tom holder: secure, adjustable positioning with genuine Yamaha hardware.

Six-Ply Birch Shells

The same 6-ply, 7.2 mm birch construction associated with the Stage Custom family provides a clear attack, controlled sustain and versatile midrange response. The shells use 45-degree R1.5 bearing edges and steel triple-flanged hoops on the toms and snare.

What Is Included?

The shell pack includes the 20×8 bass drum, 10×5 rack tom, 13×8 floor tom with snares, 13×5 snare drum and CL940LB tom holder.

Please note: cymbal stands, hi-hat stand, snare stand, kick pedal, throne and cymbals are not included. Yamaha HW3 hardware is a well-matched optional companion and is sold separately.
