Clapbox CB40 Blue Adjustable Snare Cajon

Dynamic Sound, Customizable Snares, and a Cool Visual Statement

The Clapbox CB40 Blue Adjustable Snare Cajon is designed for percussionists who want a versatile, expressive sound combined with a striking and calming visual presence. This model delivers all the authentic cajon tones Clapbox is known for, accentuated by a deep blue finish on its playing surface that makes it an eye-catching instrument on any stage or in any acoustic setting. The added benefit of adjustable snare wires provides unparalleled control over your sound.

Crafted with a sturdy MDF body, known for its consistent resonance and durability, the CB40 offers a reliable foundation for its sound. The responsive playing surface, made from Luan or a similar tropical hardwood, provides distinct zones for crisp snare slaps and deep, resonant bass tones. The defining feature of the CB40 is its adjustable internal snare wires. This mechanism allows drummers to easily tighten or loosen the snares, providing a wide spectrum of sound possibilities—from a sharp, dry, and articulate sizzle perfect for flamenco or contemporary pop, to a looser, more traditional woody resonance ideal for folk or acoustic genres, or even a completely snare-off sound for pure bass and conga-like tones. The rear sound port ensures excellent sound projection, allowing the cajon to cut through acoustic mixes effectively. The Clapbox CB40 Blue Adjustable Snare Cajon is an excellent choice for players who value sonic versatility, hands-on control, and a cool, expressive aesthetic.
