Clapbox CB50 Cajon

Clapbox CB50 Cajon

Extended Bass, Enhanced Projection, and Robust Construction for Powerful Performance

The Clapbox CB50 Cajon is designed for drummers and percussionists seeking a cajon that delivers a particularly strong and extended bass response, along with enhanced overall projection. As a larger-sized model within the Clapbox range, the CB50 provides more internal air volume, which contributes to deeper, richer bass tones and a fuller sound when played. It’s an excellent choice for situations where the cajon needs to cut through a mix with more authority, whether in acoustic performances, worship settings, or band rehearsals.

Crafted with a sturdy MDF body, known for its consistent resonance and durability, the CB50 offers a robust construction that can withstand enthusiastic playing. The responsive playing surface (often Luan or a similar tropical hardwood) provides distinct zones for crisp snare slaps and truly booming bass tones. Inside, adjustable internal snare wires create a sensitive and articulate sizzle, allowing drummers to fine-tune the snare effect to their preference – from a tight, snappy pop sound to a more traditional, woody resonance. The rear sound port is optimized for the larger body, ensuring excellent sound projection. The Clapbox CB50 Cajon is ideal for players who want a cajon with a commanding presence and a rich, deep sonic foundation.
