Fixed Wire Brushes for Traditional Jazz Sound
The Meinl SB311 Fixed Wire Brush delivers the classic wire brush tone that has defined jazz drumming for generations. The permanently spread stainless steel wire bristles produce a warm, whisper-quiet swish across the snare that no other tool can replicate — the essential sound for jazz standards, ballads, and low-volume acoustic sessions.
Unlike retractable designs, the fixed spread ensures every stroke is consistent and immediately ready — no adjustments between songs or during fast brush roll sequences. The comfortable wooden handle provides secure grip and precise control, making the SB311 a studio and performance standard for the discerning jazz drummer.
-
