Funk, Power & Soul: The Vater Chad Smith Funk Blaster

Co-designed with Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, the Vater Funk Blaster packs the authority and groove that defines Chad’s playing. Its heavier feel and focused taper are built to cut through the mix with power, punch, and that unmistakable RHCP swagger.

Crafted from premium American hickory and computer-matched for weight and pitch, the Funk Blaster is a high-performance stick for players who mean business on the groove.

  • Premium American Hickory: Hand-selected for strength, resilience, and a classic, responsive feel.

  • Chad Smith Spec: Designed with the RHCP drummer for maximum power, punch, and groove — built to cut through any mix.

  • Computer Matched: Every pair is matched for weight and pitch, guaranteeing a perfectly balanced set every time.
