Vater VWTS Wire Tap Standard Brush

Unleash Nuanced Tones: The Vater VWTS Wire Tap Standard Brush

The Vater VWTS Wire Tap Standard Brush is a specialized percussion implement designed by Vater Percussion to expand a drummer’s expressive capabilities.

It allows for the creation of softer, more textured, and nuanced percussive sounds, making it an indispensable tool for genres like jazz, blues, acoustic music, and orchestral settings where subtlety and dynamic control are paramount.

Key Features:

• Non-Retractable Design: The fixed wire bristles ensure a consistent feel and sonic output with every stroke, providing reliable performance for sweeping patterns or articulate taps.

• Soft Rubber Grip: Designed for optimal player comfort and control, this ergonomic grip reduces hand fatigue and prevents slippage, allowing for greater precision in intricate patterns and nuanced dynamics.

• Metal Rivet for Cymbal Scrapes: A distinct metal rivet at the butt end allows drummers to produce unique and distinct textures on cymbals, expanding the sonic palette beyond traditional drum sounds.

• “Wire Tap” Technology: This proprietary innovation features a hard tap surface directly behind the wire bristles.

  • Enhanced Sonic Impact: It enables a more solid and articulate striking sound on drumheads, allowing brushwork to cut through a mix more effectively.

  • Durability Enhancement: It significantly reduces excessive wear on both the brush bristles and the drumheads, extending the lifespan of your equipment.

• Steel Wire Bristles: Constructed from durable steel wire, providing the characteristic “swish” and articulate sounds associated with brush playing.

• Versatile Performance: Its unique sonic capabilities make it well-suited for a wide range of genres, from jazz and blues to lighter rock and pop, where defined articulation and subtle textures are desired.
