The 12-inch hi-hat mounts on its own conventional stand rather than on the rack. Its motion-sensor control recognises fully open, fully closed and half-open positions, creating a more familiar relationship between stick movement and foot technique.
Every drum pad uses a mesh playing surface, with dual-trigger sensing on the snare and toms for separate head and rim response. The included 6-inch rubber kick tower accepts the supplied pedal and gives the rack a compact, stable footprint for home practice and rehearsal rooms.
NUX VariTone processing is designed to retain changes in tone and dynamics as your striking position and force change. The module provides 25 preset kits, 10 user-kit locations and 425 selectable voices, with bus EQ, compression, overdrive and reverb available for further shaping.
The built-in USB interface can send up to eight separate audio tracks as well as MIDI to a compatible DAW. Stereo outputs, headphones, a trigger expansion input and the Type-C connection for the Bluetooth module or USB memory keep the kit ready for practice, recording and live use.
Accent, rhythm, silent and speed-variation exercises give you practical ways to develop dynamic control, timing and consistency. Bluetooth audio lets you play with lessons and backing tracks without another cable running across the kit.
The 3.5 mm TRRS AUX input supports simultaneous audio and video capture to a compatible smartphone, simplifying quick performance clips and lesson submissions. A suitable TRRS cable is required and is not included with the kit.
