The TD-07DMK is the most compact entry point into Roland’s TD-07 family. Its stand-mounted kick, compact cymbals and four-post rack fit comfortably into bedrooms, teaching rooms and home studios, while retaining the responsive feel and dependable tracking that define V-Drums.
The 8-inch PDX-8 snare provides separate head and rim zones, while three 6.5-inch PDX-6A toms complete the kit. Their double-ply mesh heads are quiet, tension-adjustable with a drum key and offer the controlled rebound needed to practise dynamics, rolls and ghost notes with confidence.
The same TD-07 module used higher in the series supplies 143 instruments and 50 kit locations. Start with the factory kits, then shape individual drums with tuning, muffling and pad EQ before adding overhead microphone simulation, room ambience and any of 30 multi-effects.
The KD-2 kick pad mounts directly to the rack, reducing the space required by a conventional kick tower. Built-in damping helps control mechanical noise and vibration while preserving physical beater movement and familiar pedal technique. A kick pedal is required and is sold separately.
Stream songs, backing tracks or lesson videos from a phone, tablet or computer over Bluetooth audio and hear them alongside the kit through headphones or a monitor. Bluetooth MIDI also connects compatible music apps without adding another cable.
Five onboard Coach modes work on timing, consistency, tempo control and rhythmic accuracy, with scoring that makes progress visible. The advanced metronome and 40 free Melodics lessons provide two useful paths for building a regular, focused practice routine.
Connect the TD-07 module to a Mac or Windows computer and send stereo audio plus MIDI directly to compatible recording software. You can capture the module’s finished sound or use the pads to trigger software instruments for production, practice analysis and home-studio work.

Yes. The PDX-8 snare and all three PDX-6A toms use tension-adjustable, double-ply Roland mesh heads. The snare supports separate head and rim zones; the toms are single-zone pads and do not support rimshots.
Yes. Bluetooth audio can stream music and lesson-video sound from a compatible phone, tablet or computer. A stereo Mix In jack is also available for devices that need a wired connection.
Yes. Its USB-B connection carries MIDI and stereo audio to compatible Mac or Windows recording software. Roland’s vendor driver and Vendor USB mode are required when using USB audio.
No. The KD-2 kick pad, hi-hat control pedal, rack, cabling and AC adaptor are included, but a kick pedal, drum throne, headphones or monitor and drumsticks are sold separately.
Yes. The module supports a second crash. Roland lists a CY-5 cymbal with an MDY-Standard cymbal arm as the compatible expansion, sold separately.
The mesh heads, damped KD-2 kick pad and rack design reduce acoustic playing noise and vibration. Pedal impacts can still travel through some floors, so an isolation mat or Roland Noise Eater solution may help in sensitive rooms or apartments.
