Remo Ambassador Coated 16″ Drumhead

The Industry Standard: The Remo Coated Ambassador

For over 60 years, the Remo Coated Ambassador has been the definitive sound of countless recordings and the go-to choice for drummers across every genre.

It is the world’s most popular drumhead, celebrated for its unmatched musicality and versatility. Constructed from a single ply of 10-mil coated Mylar film, the Coated Ambassador produces a sound that is open, warm, and resonant, with a long, beautiful sustain. The proprietary coating adds warmth and focus, taming unwanted high-frequency overtones while providing a classic textured surface for brushwork.

Whether used as a batter head for a sensitive, articulate response or as a resonant head for a full, booming tone, the Coated Ambassador is the ultimate all-purpose drumhead for a powerful floor tom sound.
