22-inch coated two-ply bass drum head from the G2 series, providing a warm, punchy sound with controlled sustain.
The Evans G2 Clear bass drum batter brings two plies of 7-mil film together to create a focused, punchy low end that cuts through even the densest mix. The double-ply construction adds extra durability and controlled sustain compared to single-ply alternatives, making the G2 Clear a favourite among rock, country, and contemporary worship drummers who need consistent response every night. The result is a tight, defined attack with a warm body that remains musical without becoming boomy.
Whether you’re playing with a felt beater for a classic warm thud, a wood beater for a modern click, or a hard plastic for maximum attack, the G2 Clear’s dual-ply design responds with predictable, even tone across the entire head surface. The clear finish means no tonal coloration is added — just pure, controlled bass drum performance that gives your mix engineer exactly what they need to shape your low-end sound from the room to the board.
