Remo Emperor X Coated 14-inch snare head: two 10-mil plies with a 5-mil black dot underneath, built for the hardest hitters.
The Ultimate in Durability: The Remo Emperor X
Engineered for the hardest-hitting drummers, the Remo Emperor X is the toughest snare head on the market.
This head is constructed with two plies of 10-mil coated film and features a 5-mil reverse black dot on the underside for added durability and focus right where you need it. This immense thickness results in a tight, dry, and focused sound that eliminates unwanted overtones and delivers a fat, powerful backbeat.
If you consistently break, dent, or wear out your snare heads, the Emperor X is the solution you’ve been looking for. It’s the top choice for rock, metal, punk, and any genre where maximum volume and durability are required.
-
Extreme Durability: Constructed from two plies of 10-mil film, making it the thickest and most durable snare head in the Remo lineup.
-
Focused, Dry Sound: The heavy construction and reverse dot work together to eliminate overtones and produce a controlled, focused, and dry snare sound.
-
Reverse Black Dot: Features a 5-mil black dot on the underside of the head, adding durability and focus to the center striking zone.
-
Coated Finish: The iconic coating adds warmth and focus to the overall sound.
-
For the Heavy Hitter: The number one choice for drummers who play hard and need a snare head that can withstand intense volume and aggressive playing.
