The Evans EQ Single Bass Drum Pad is a pre-cut, self-adhesive foam and Mylar patch designed for placement on the resonant (front) bass drum head, providing controlled dampening and protection at the port hole opening. For drummers who use a mic port or ported front head, the EQ Pad helps shape the low-end response and prevent edge wear around the cutout, delivering a cleaner, more consistent bass drum tone without excessive boom.
