Evans EQ clear plastic double-pedal patches: non-slip patches that add beater attack and protect the bass drum head.
The Evans EQ Double Patch is a reinforced, two-layer self-adhesive Mylar patch that provides extra protection at the bass drum head’s beater impact point. Designed for drummers who play with particularly aggressive technique or heavy beaters, the Double Patch offers twice the thickness of a single-layer patch — significantly extending head life in high-wear scenarios without adding any audible change to the drum’s tone or attack character.
The clear Mylar construction remains transparent against both clear and coated bass drum heads, and the adhesive is formulated for a lasting bond through repeated heavy impacts. Whether you’re touring, recording, or playing high-volume venues with hard-beaters, the EQ Double Patch is the definitive solution for drummers who destroy bass drum heads faster than average.
