The Evans E-Ring Standard pack: external overtone control rings that float on the head to remove overtones and make tuning easier.
Evans E-Rings Standard are pre-cut foam overtone control rings designed to sit on top of a drum head and instantly reduce ring, sustain, and unwanted overtones. Unlike adhesive muffling solutions, E-Rings simply rest on the playing surface and can be lifted off at any time — giving you instant A/B comparison between open and dampened sounds without any tools or time. The foam ring covers the outer edge of the head, where ring and sustain originate, while leaving the centre of the drum surface free for stick contact.
Available in standard sizes to fit common tom and snare drum diameters, E-Rings Standard are an essential toolkit item for any recording session or live performance where a controlled, studio-ready drum sound is required quickly. They’re also great for practice rooms or rehearsals where volume and ring reduction are priorities without investing in a full mesh head conversion.
