Classic Forward 5A FireGrain — Harder Wood, Longer Life
The ProMark Classic Forward 5A FireGrain takes the beloved TX5AW and subjects the hickory to a proprietary heat treatment process that hardens the wood fibers at a molecular level — resulting in a stick that plays and feels identical to the standard 5A but lasts significantly longer.
FireGrain sticks retain all the warmth, tone, and balance of premium hickory — the heat treatment doesn’t change how the stick feels or sounds, just how long it survives under heavy use.
-
FireGrain Technology: Heat-treated hickory with hardened wood fibers for dramatically increased durability and longer stick life.
-
Forward Balance: Tip-heavy weight distribution for power, projection, and efficient technique — unchanged by the FireGrain process.
-
Same Feel, Longer Life: Plays and sounds exactly like the standard TX5AW — just built to withstand more abuse before needing replacement.
