Evans Uno G2 Clear — Two-Ply Control at Entry-Level Value
The Evans Uno G2 Clear is the entry point to Evans’ two-ply clear tom head range — sharing the same core G2 construction (dual 7-mil clear film) that delivers the controlled, focused attack and reduced sustain the G2 series is celebrated for, available at an accessible price point. If you are building your first quality kit setup or replacing heads on a practice or rehearsal drum, the Uno G2 gives you professional-grade construction without the full-range premium.
The two-ply build handles regular playing and practice well, and the clear film keeps the natural tone of the shell intact. It is an honest, no-compromise head that performs above its price — a solid foundation for drummers taking their setup seriously for the first time.
-
Dual 7-Mil Clear Plies: Standard G2 two-ply construction — controlled sustain, punchy attack, and solid durability in an accessible format.
-
Clear Film: Lets the drum shell’s natural resonance through unchanged, preserving the character of any kit it’s fitted on.
-
Entry-Level Pricing: Evans G2 performance at a price that makes it ideal for student kits, rehearsal setups, and budget-conscious upgrades.
