Imperialstar complete kits give you everything a drummer needs at an affordable price: a 22"x18" bass drum, 10"x7" and 12"x8" toms, a 16"x14" floor tom and a 14"x5" snare, with double-braced stands, an Iron Cobra 200 pedal and a drum throne. The price makes it a natural first kit, and intermediate players enjoy its sound in every style, from jazz and R&B to rock.
The 6-ply, 8mm shells are 100% poplar, a wood used for drum shells for over 50 years. Poplar gives a full, warm tone with a medium attack that suits a wide range of music.
The bearing edge is one of the most important parts of a drum's sound. Tama's precise edge-cutting lets the shells ring openly and fully, with a wide tuning range, sensitivity and response, so the drums are easy to tune to a good sound.
The MTH600 double tom holder uses Tama's Omnisphere system for easy positioning, flexibility and stability. It doesn't penetrate the shell interior, so the toms resonate more freely than with standard designs.
The hi-hat stand, snare stand, boom cymbal stand and straight cymbal stand are Tama Stage Master double-braced models, popular for their functionality, durability and stability.
The included Iron Cobra 200 pedal is built on the same design principles as Tama's Iron Cobra 900, with a cam that gives a smooth, light feel without sacrificing power or speed.
The drum throne has a 13-inch round seat and a base designed for excellent stability.
Wood bass drum hoops with a matching finish give the kit an upgraded look.
Imperialstar spur brackets give the bass drum maximum durability and stability on the floor.
