The A Zildjian Rock Ride is voiced for drummers who play hard and need their ride pattern heard. Its 20-inch size and heavier build give it a loud, bright character that holds its own against amplified guitars.
Clear stick definition
Each stroke speaks with a strong, focused attack, so eighth-note and quarter-note ride patterns stay clean and articulate instead of blurring into wash.
A bell that cuts
The bell is loud and cutting, making it a dependable choice for bell patterns and accents in rock, where a softer bell would disappear in the mix.
Controlled overtones
Overtones are kept moderate, which helps the cymbal stay focused at volume and keeps the ride from building up into an uncontrolled roar.
Classic A Zildjian construction
Cast from B20 bronze and finished in the Traditional style, it carries the bright, familiar A Zildjian tone.
