Evans Cymbal Sizzler two-chain pack: a riveted cymbal sound with no drilling, with loud and soft sizzle chains that snap on and off.

The Evans Cymbal Sizzler is a length of precision-cut metal chain designed to add a continuous, buzzing sizzle effect to any cymbal in your setup. Simply drape the sizzler across the cymbal’s surface and let gravity keep it in contact — the chain vibrates against the cymbal metal with every stroke, producing the classic washy, sizzling overtone associated with jazz ride cymbals and exotic percussion sounds. No drilling, mounting hardware, or permanent modification required.

The Evans Cymbal Sizzler works with any size or type of cymbal — rides, hi-hats, crashes, and even specialty cymbals. Experiment with placement to control the intensity of the effect: closer to the bell for more pronounced sizzle, towards the bow for a subtler wash. A simple, affordable way to add texture and character to your cymbal sound.
