The Right Power for Yamaha's DTX-PRO, DTX-PROX and EAD10 Modules

Overview

The PA-150B is Yamaha's own 12V DC, 1.5A power adaptor, and the one Yamaha specifies for its DTX-PRO and DTX-PROX drum modules (the brains of the DTX6, DTX8 and DTX10 series kits) and for the EAD10 electronic acoustic drum module. Keep one as a spare in your gig bag, replace an adaptor that has been lost or damaged, or power a module that came without one. Yamaha itself notes that the adaptor may not be included with its modules in some regions.

Specified by Yamaha for the DTX-PRO and DTX-PROX

Yamaha lists the PA-150 as the AC adaptor for the DTX-PRO module used on DTX6 and DTX8 series kits, and for the DTX-PROX module used on DTX10 series kits. The DTX-PROX specification calls for a 12V DC, 1.5A supply, which is exactly what the PA-150B delivers.

Also powers the EAD10 and DTX-MULTI 12

The EAD10 electronic acoustic drum module is specified for the PA-150. The DTX-MULTI 12 percussion pad was originally listed with the PA-5D adaptor, and the PA-150 is Yamaha's replacement for that model.
