Ball mount and clamp

A ball mount and clamp with a short hex rod, built to hold a tom on a Yamaha tom holder. The ball mount lets you set the tom at the angle you want.

Short hex rod for YESS

The short hex rod is made for Yamaha's YESS tom mount, which is fitted to Yamaha drum sets other than the Stage Custom Hip and Rydeen.

Let your toms resonate

YESS (Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System) works as a shock mount, keeping contact between the shell and the mount to a minimum so the tom can vibrate freely for maximum resonance.

Completes your tom holder

The TH904A double tom holder has a three-hole receiver and comes without tom clamps, so add one CL945B for each tom. The TH945B already includes two CL-945 clamps; a CL945B gives you a spare or a replacement.

Short pipe or long pipe

The CL945B has a short pipe. Yamaha also makes the CL945LB with a long pipe, and the CL940B and CL940LB with a long rod for toms without YESS.

Will it fit my toms?

It is made for toms with Yamaha's YESS mount. Yamaha fits YESS to its drum sets other than the Stage Custom Hip and Rydeen. If you are unsure about your toms, send us a photo of the mount and we will check.

Which tom holders does it work with?

Yamaha tom holder receivers such as the TH904A double tom holder, which comes without clamps. The TH945B already includes two CL-945 clamps.

What is the difference between the CL945B and the CL945LB?

Both have a short hex rod for YESS. The CL945B has a short pipe and the CL945LB has a long pipe.
