Pearl D-3500BR Drum Throne With Back Rest

The Pearl D-3500BR Drum Throne is a premium seating solution from Pearl’s acclaimed Roadster series, meticulously designed for professional drummers who demand superior comfort, advanced ergonomic support, and unwavering stability during extended performances and practice sessions. It integrates innovative cushion technology with robust hardware and a crucial backrest for complete support.

Ergonomic “Multi-Core” Saddle Seat with Backrest

A standout feature of the D-3500BR is its saddle-style seat, which incorporates Pearl’s advanced “Multi-Core Foam” technology. This revolutionary design uses multiple layers of varied density foam that are strategically tapered, providing targeted support and easing joint pressure where drummers need it most. This ergonomic approach ensures optimal comfort and blood flow, reducing fatigue even during the longest sessions. The seat is typically covered in a durable synthetic material like vinyl, offering a slip-resistant surface and easy maintenance.

Crucially, the D-3500BR comes standard with a detachable backrest (DTBR-1535). This backrest is breathable and form-fitting, mounting easily via a single knob. It provides essential lumbar support, encouraging proper posture and further reducing strain on the back during prolonged playing.

Rock-Solid Stability and Versatile Functionality

The D-3500BR is built upon a foundation of rock-solid stability. It features double-braced tripod legs, a heavy-duty design that effectively minimizes wobble and prevents the throne from shifting, even during the most dynamic drumming. Each leg is equipped with large, slip-resistant rubber feet, ensuring a secure grip on various floor surfaces.

Pearl’s innovative Lock/Spin Reversible StopLock system is integrated into the throne’s design. This allows drummers to choose whether the seat cushion remains secured in a fixed position or is free to spin, depending on their preference and playing style.

Precise and Reliable Height Adjustment

Height adjustment on the D-3500BR is handled by a manual spindle system. This threaded rod mechanism allows for extremely precise, micro-adjustments, enabling drummers to dial in their exact optimal ergonomic height. A sturdy memory clamp ensures that once your preferred height is set, the throne reliably returns to that position every time you set up, and it remains locked during play, preventing any unwanted sinking. The height range is generous, typically from 495mm to 665mm (19.5″ to 26.2″), accommodating a wide spectrum of drummers and setups.
