Unlike natural skin, the Fiberskyn head is completely unaffected by changes in temperature and humidity, guaranteeing that the drum stays in tune and maintains its rich tone no matter where you play. By applying pressure to the drumhead with the fingers or thumb, players can easily bend the pitch, mimicking a vocal-like quality and allowing for intricate melodic phrasing.
