Quality Construction and Vibrant Sound

The core of the Meinl SH888BK’s design is its commitment to both durability and a professional-grade sound.

• Durable Aluminum Shell: The shaker features a tough, black-anodized aluminum shell that is built to withstand the rigors of frequent use.2 The seamless design ensures the shaker is both durable and visually appealing.

• Octagonal Shape: The unique octagonal shape of the shaker provides a different feel and tone than a traditional round shaker.3 The corners allow for a more pronounced “clack” sound, while the overall design provides a smooth, clear shake sound.

• Crisp, Cutting Sound: The shaker is filled with a specific type of filling that is carefully selected to produce a crisp, high-pitched, and cutting sound.4 This sound can easily be heard over other instruments, making it a great addition to any mix.
