Authentic Rhythms with a Nod to American Music Heritage

The Pearl PBC-122B Music Town USA Cajon is a uniquely designed percussion instrument that combines authentic cajon sound with a striking visual tribute to America’s iconic music cities. Part of Pearl’s Primero series, this cajon is crafted to deliver a wide range of percussive sounds, making it a versatile choice for acoustic gigs, unplugged sessions, and studio recordings, while its distinctive graphic faceplate adds a touch of personality to any performance.

The cajon’s body is constructed from durable Medium-Density Fiberboard (MDF), which provides a solid and resonant sound chamber. The playing surface, or tapa, is made from Meranti wood, known for its relative hardness and straight grain, ideal for producing clear, articulate tones. The faceplate features a “Music Town USA” graphic, designed to resemble a wooden crate adorned with the names of famous music cities. Inside, the cajon is equipped with two sets of fixed snare wires, which add a crisp snap and sparkle to your tone, enhancing the articulation of ghost notes and slaps. A patented, built-in, rear-facing bass port magnifies the low-end tone, delivering a deep and rich bass sound that complements the bright snare. The Pearl PBC-122B Music Town USA Cajon offers a great balance of sound quality, durability, and a unique aesthetic, making it an excellent performer for any musician.
