Schlagwerk Birch Surface Buzz Board

Foot-Activated Buzz: Add Snare-Like Rhythms and Rich Textures with Ease

The Schlagwerk Birch Surface Buzz Board is an innovative and highly practical foot percussion instrument designed to provide drummers, guitarists, singers, and other musicians with a convenient way to add rhythmic snare-like textures and effects with their foot. Developed by Schlagwerk, renowned for their dedication to quality percussion, the Buzz Board frees up your hands to play your primary instrument while maintaining a solid groove.

The Buzz Board features a robust birch base that provides a stable and resonant platform. The playing surface is also crafted from birch, chosen for its bright and articulate tonal qualities. The “buzz” effect is achieved through an integrated snare system, similar to that found in a cajon, which creates a crisp, rattling sound with every tap of the heel or toe. This allows for a wide range of rhythmic possibilities, from subtle shuffles and accents to driving backbeats. Its compact and durable design makes it easy to position underfoot and transport to any gig, studio session, or practice. The Schlagwerk Birch Surface Buzz Board is a versatile tool for enhancing your rhythmic output and adding a unique percussive layer to your music.
