The Cratez features an internal adjustable snare mechanism that lets you shape your sound from a tight, punchy crack to an open, resonant buzz. A lever at the bottom of the cajon controls snare engagement and tension — set it lower to disable the snare entirely, and higher to make the snare more prominent. The factory snare setting works great straight out of the box, with the option to adjust as your ear and technique develop.
