Vic Firth Cajon Bru-llet: a brush and mallet in one, built to bring out both slap and bass tones on the cajon.

Cajon Bru-Llet — Brushes Designed for the Cajon

The Vic Firth Cajon Bru-Llet is a unique hybrid brush-mallet tool specifically designed for use on the cajon — combining the swish and texture of wire brushes with the focused attack of a mallet for a versatile, expressive sound palette.

Whether you’re playing a quiet acoustic gig, a studio session, or an intimate venue, the Bru-Llet gives cajonistas a tool to add brush sweep, slap texture, and tonal variation with a natural, musical feel.

  • Cajon-Optimised Design: Shaped specifically for the playing surface and angles of a cajon for natural, intuitive technique.

  • Dual-Texture Response: Delivers both brush swish and focused mallet attack in a single, versatile tool.

  • Lightweight Construction: Easy to handle for fast, fluid cajon playing across a wide range of styles.
