The toms and snare feature 6-ply, 5mm shells, while the bass drum boasts a robust 8-ply, 7mm construction, all with fine 45-degree bearing edges for optimal sound. The Superstar Classic integrates innovative hardware designed to enhance the drums' natural sustain. The Star-Mount system provides support at four points on the batter side hoop, allowing the shells to vibrate freely for maximum resonance. Low-mass single lugs minimize contact with the shell, further contributing to sustain and dynamic range. The kit features 1.6mm triple-flanged steel hoops on toms and snare for an open sound, and die-cast claw hooks with rubber lining on the bass drum to protect wood hoops and maintain tuning stability. Tama's L-Rod and Omnisphere tom holder systems offer easy, flexible, and stable positioning without penetrating the shell.

Adorned with a striking Ice Ash wrap finish, this kit offers a professional aesthetic that looks as good as it sounds. It ships with TAMA Power Craft II drumheads, providing a great sound right out of the box, with ring mufflers on the bass drum heads for convenient dampening.
