The Superstar Classic integrates innovative hardware designed to enhance the drums' natural sustain. The Star-Mount system provides support at four points on the batter side hoop, allowing the shells to vibrate freely for maximum resonance. Low-mass single lugs minimize contact with the shell, further contributing to sustain and dynamic range. The kit features 1.6mm triple-flanged steel hoops on toms and snare for an open sound, and die-cast claw hooks with rubber lining on the bass drum to protect wood hoops and maintain tuning stability. Tama's L-Rod and Omnisphere tom holder systems offer easy, flexible, and stable positioning without penetrating the shell.
