The FP7210A is Yamaha's entry-level single bass drum pedal. It gives you a well-made, dependable pedal to learn and practise on, and it works with most acoustic drum kits and electronic kick pads.

Single chain drive

A single chain links the footboard to the beater for a smooth, direct feel that's easy to control, so you can focus on developing your bass drum technique.

Horizontal frame brace for stability

A horizontal brace ties the two sides of the frame together, keeping the pedal solid and stable under your foot as you play.

Beater angle adjustment

Loosen the beater angle bolt with a drum key to set the beater where you want it, for more throw and power or a shorter, faster stroke.

Set the feel and keep it planted

Adjust the spring tension to make the pedal lighter or firmer, with a spring roller for smooth movement, and set the spurs so the pedal stays in place on the floor.

What is included?

The Yamaha FP7210A single bass drum pedal with its beater. A drum key is not supplied.

Will it work with my electronic drum kit?

Yes. The FP7210A works with most acoustic drum kits and electronic kick pads.

Which pedal should I upgrade to later?

The Yamaha FP8500C has a longer footboard, a sub-frame for extra stability and a self-locking spring adjustment. The FP9500 and FP9 series are Yamaha's professional pedals. Ask us to try them side by side in the showroom.

I need a double pedal. What do you suggest?
