The Speed Cobra 310 is a streamlined version of Tama's Speed Cobra 910, built on the same design principles. You get the same long footboard and Recessed Setting for fast, powerful strokes with less effort, and professional quality and feel for less.
The Speed Cobra footboard is longer than the Iron Cobra's, so the beater stroke gains power and speed quickly, with less effort from your foot. A smoother playing surface reduces friction under your foot, for more precise control and flexibility.
Tama's patented Recessed Setting places the footboard to balance the natural feel of a chain drive with a lighter action. Combined with a revised bearing frame, it needs about 20% less effort to produce the same power and feel as Tama's earlier designs, so you tire less on long, fast passages.
The true round LiteSprocket is 40% lighter than the Iron Cobra sprocket. It turns naturally and smoothly, for a lighter feel under your foot.
The same durable double chain drive as the Speed Cobra 910 gives smooth, accurate motion in any situation.
A tough, cylindrical brass sleeve protects the hinge pin from damage and excess pressure, for fluid motion and longer life.
Adjustable beater and footboard angles are rare at this price. The Speed Cobra 310's angle adjustment is linked to the footboard angle, so you can set the throw and feel to suit your playing.
The HP310LW gives you a Speed Cobra 310 pedal on both sides, so you can play double bass patterns on one bass drum, with the same long footboards and light action under each foot.
The Tama Speed Cobra 310 HP310LW double bass drum pedal with its beaters.
The 310 is a streamlined version of the 910 built on the same design principles, with the same long footboard, Recessed Setting and double chain drive, at a more accessible price. Ask us to compare them in the showroom.
