Sela Varios Series Red Cajon

SELA SE050 Varios Cajon – Red

Professional Features, Striking Looks, and German Craftsmanship at an Unbeatable Value

The SELA SE050 Varios Cajon in Red is an outstanding percussion instrument that boldly combines professional-grade features with an eye-catching design and the renowned “Made in Germany” quality. Designed to offer exceptional value, the Varios delivers a powerful bass and an assertive snare drum sound, making it incredibly versatile for a wide range of musical styles, from energetic flamenco and deep Latin grooves to modern pop and acoustic music.

The cajon’s extra-strong body is constructed from 15mm, 11-ply birch, a premium material well-regarded for its exceptional resonance, stability, and clear tonal characteristics, providing a robust and vibrant sound chamber. The playing surface, or tapa, features a dynamic red poplar veneer with a modern design and a durable varnish coating, offering a responsive and visually striking strike zone. A key innovation of the Varios series is the removable Sela Snare System, which allows players to easily take out or reinsert the snare wires through the sound port. This offers almost infinite possibilities for sound variations—from a crisp, assertive snare sound, especially favored by flamenco players, to a pure, traditional cajon tone emphasizing the wood’s resonance. The Varios also boasts special pre-adjusted Clap Corners, which produce distinct, sharp clicking sounds that further expand its percussive palette. With its individually adjustable snare sound and non-slip rubber feet, the SELA SE050 Varios Cajon stands out as a versatile, high-quality, and remarkably value-packed instrument that is genuinely “Made in Germany.”
