Foot-Activated Sizzle: Add Bright Rhythms and Shimmering Textures with Ease

The Schlagwerk Beech Wood Surface Sizzle Board is an innovative and highly practical foot percussion instrument designed to provide drummers, guitarists, singers, and other musicians with a convenient way to add bright, shimmering, and articulate rhythmic accents with their foot. Developed by Schlagwerk, renowned for their dedication to quality percussion, the Sizzle Board frees up your hands to play your primary instrument while enriching your groove with a distinctive high-end texture.

The Sizzle Board features a robust beech wood base that provides a stable and resonant platform. The playing surface is also crafted from beech wood, chosen for its clear, articulate tonal qualities. The “sizzle” effect is achieved through an integrated system, typically involving small metal jingles or a specialized snare arrangement, which creates a crisp, shimmering sound with every tap of the heel or toe. This allows for a wide range of rhythmic possibilities, from subtle accents to driving, rhythmic accompaniment. Its compact and durable design makes it easy to position underfoot and transport to any gig, studio session, or practice. The Schlagwerk Beech Wood Surface Sizzle Board is a versatile tool for enhancing your rhythmic output and adding a unique percussive layer to your music.
