NUX DP-2000 Kick Drum Expansion Package

Turn your digital pad into a complete, stage-ready electronic drum kit

The NUX DP-2000 Kick Drum Expansion Package is an essential hardware upgrade designed to turn your NUX DP-2000 or DP-2000IN percussion pad into a fully functional, foot-operated drum rig. Featuring a highly responsive kick trigger pad and a rugged bass drum pedal, this package delivers natural impact feel, precise velocity tracking, and solid floor traction. Connecting directly via plug-and-play to the rear KICK input of your DP-2000, it provides realistic bass drum response for practice, live performances, and hybrid drum setups.

Authentic Bass Drum Feel — Dynamic Foot Expression

The NUX Kick Drum Expansion Package translates your foot technique into realistic, dynamic bass drum response. The specialized trigger pad surface absorbs stick/beater impact naturally, mimicking the rebound and feel of an acoustic bass drum head while accurately tracking soft dynamic strokes and heavy power hits.

Direct Plug-and-Play Integration

Engineered specifically for the NUX DP-2000 series, the expansion pad connects directly into the dedicated 1/4″ KICK input jack on the back panel. No complex menu navigation or external power supply is needed — simply plug in, assign your preferred kick sample, and start playing immediately.

Rugged Pedal Chassis & Non-Slip Stability

Built to handle heavy performance use, the included bass drum pedal features a smooth chain-drive feel and an adjustable spring tension mechanism. Armed with a solid baseplate and retractable floor spikes, the unit anchors firmly into stage carpets and drum mats to prevent pad creep during dynamic playing.

Compact & Portable Footprint

Eliminating the need to carry a bulky acoustic bass drum, this compact expansion package provides full kick drum functionality in a streamlined package, making it ideal for tight stage environments, home studios, and mobile gigs.
