The Evans Hazy snare resonant head is a thin, lightly tinted single-ply resonant designed specifically for the bottom of snare drums. Its primary job is to respond freely and sensitively to the snare wires, allowing the full snare articulation — the buzz, the sensitivity, the ghosting — to transfer efficiently from the wire contact to the overall drum sound. The Hazy’s construction prioritises responsiveness above everything else.
