The RHH135 mounts on the included HS650A hi-hat stand and moves like an acoustic pair, giving your foot familiar open, closed and half-open control. The 15-inch ride and two 13-inch crashes respond across bell, bow and edge zones and support cymbal choking.
The KP90 kick pad uses a multi-layer cushion to absorb beater shock and reduce mechanical noise while retaining a firm, realistic response. Everything mounts to the spacious RS6 rack, which is designed to hold the larger pads securely and leave room around your pedals.
Ten training functions help develop timing, dynamics and consistency. Rhythm Gate sounds a note only when your strike lands accurately, while Measure Break removes the click for selected bars so you can test whether your internal pulse stays steady.
USB carries both audio and MIDI to a computer or smart device. Use Yamaha Rec'n'Share to capture performance video with direct kit audio, or use the included Cubase AI software to record, edit and mix the DTX6K5-M as part of a music-production setup.
The low-profile pads and adjustable rack let the assembled kit fold inward for easier movement and storage. The DTX6 platform can support up to 14 pads, so you can add extra cymbals or percussion sounds and reconfigure the setup as your playing develops.
