The 1.2mm bronze shell and shallow 4.5" depth deliver a solid crack, and the sensitivity of the shallow shell gives you a wide variety of sounds from one drum.

Die-cast hoops
Eight-hole die-cast hoops give an incredibly sharp, solid rimshot and consistent tuning.
Starclassic Hi-Carbon snare wires
Twenty-strand Starclassic Hi-Carbon steel snare wires keep the response crisp and sensitive. Starclassic snare wires are designed so that, as you add tension, the strands press closer to the snare head, and redesigned end plates and thinner straps give optimum response.
Black nickel hardware
MSL-SCPBN lugs and the MCS70 strainer and butt end are finished in black nickel, complementing the aged bronze shell.
